The Lord Jesus said to John on the Isle of Patmos some 60 years after His ascension knowing that there was going to be intense persecution coming up in the days ahead for the church, reveals Himself to him - and through John to us - with these words: "...I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death." (Revelation 1:17-18)

The passion of Staying Up Higher Ministry is to help God’s people to see the Lord Jesus Christ in His ascension glory, high and lifted up. Whenever we see Him in His transcendent glory as the Holy One there is an unveiling of His majesty and universal authority. There is a change that happens in us…like the apostle John on the island of Patmos. Such an awareness will bring us into a reverential awe and worship of Jesus alone.
Coming to see Jesus the Glorified One is a journey of the heart. The Holy Spirit initiates that journey when we put our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. As we learn to respond to the Holy Spirit’s beckoning through the Bible, the inerrant Word of God, He unveils our hearts to viewing JESUS as He is today – risen, glorified, and enthroned at the right of hand of God the Father as King of kings and Lord of lords.
